1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Shopfront website at shopfront.us ("Site") or engaging our web design, SEO, and hosting services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.

2. Services

Shopfront provides website design, development, search engine optimization (SEO), generative engine optimization (GEO), hosting, and related services for home service businesses. The specific scope of work for each client is defined in a separate service agreement or proposal.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate business information, respond to requests for content or feedback in a timely manner, and ensure that any materials you provide (photos, text, logos) do not infringe on third-party rights.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, code, and materials created by Shopfront remain the property of Shopfront until full payment is received. Upon full payment, you receive a license to use the deliverables for your business. Shopfront retains the right to showcase completed work in portfolios and marketing materials.

5. Payment

Payment terms are outlined in your service agreement. Failure to pay may result in suspension of hosting, removal of the website, or termination of services.

6. Limitation of Liability

Shopfront provides services on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic levels, or business results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shopfront shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Site or Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice as outlined in the service agreement. Upon termination, Shopfront may remove hosted content after a reasonable notice period.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
